CNN 이여, 살고 싶으면... 입 다물라.

우연히 CNN을 보다가 그냥 넘기기엔 어처구니가 없어서 캡쳐했다. 군데군데 틀린 단어와 표현이 보이는것도 그렇지만 이런 글을 편집자에게 보낼 시대착오적인 발상을 했다는 사실이 놀랍다. 국내 방송을 장악해서 국민의 눈과 귀를 가리려는 시도가 이어지고 있지만 이젠 CNN까지도 장악해서 좌지우지할 수 있다고 생각하는듯하다.

'CNN 살고 싶으면 니 관심사가 아닌 일에서 손떼고 입 다물라'는 얘기다. 뭔가 켕기기는 하는지 글을 삭제하면 계정을 없애겠다는 댓글이 압권이다. 한국에서처럼 인터넷을 점령하는게 가능하다는 착각에 빠져 있다.

아래에서 brainsh는 아마도 brainwash를 말하는듯하고 Michael Hanson은 미국 소비자연맹(Consumers Union)의 수석연구원으로 뉴욕타임스에 "미친 짓을 멈춰라"(Stop the Madness)는 글을 기고해서 도축되는 모든 소를 대상으로 광우병 검사를 하려는 민간 업체를 막고 있는 미국 농무부의 이상한 행태를 고발하고 나선 사람이다.

Michael Hanson, 그가 지적한 중에 이런 글이 있다. "미국 정부는 광우병 검사에 대한 의지가 별로 없다. 하지만 이런 상황에서 한국 정부는 미국 정부가 광우병 안전을 간접적으로밖에 보증하지 않는 방식을 수용하고 나서, 국민에게 '최선을 다했다'고 선전하고 있다."

i know the anti-US beef protest is not your concern, you prefer to see sizzling pictures of naked girls or somthing. but for god's sake, why are you ignoring the real nature of the protests and keep reporting this is really an anti-government protest? Stop the korean reporter from covering the story, poor girl or man, she or he is also brainshed and blinded by the worst liar broadcasting companies and newspapers in history!
I believed in truth, and I believed in being honest, but my entire value system is crumbling down like a castle built of sand.
How many candles have been lit, candles that cost a thousand won (or a dollar). Tens of thousands. Could have saved tens of thousand starving kids in the world, but lit and burned for the glorious idol of lies, deceptions all the while crushing down my cherished value system.
Keep ignoring it, and let Michael Hanson claim through the New York Times that American government should take notice of this protest. Mr.Hanson, Korean cattlemen are not required to test any of the cattle. What do you think about that. Have you ever thought about that?
